Ideal for children ages 5-9, the Arts of the Heart 12-week summer curriculum was created for families seeking secular enrichment that feels beautiful, meaningful, and full of wonder.
Many literature-rich programs for young children include stories that are heavy or emotionally intense. While those stories have their place, not every child is ready for them, especially in the early years. Arts of the Heart are centered around warm, nourishing themes. Children are invited into the wider world through story, art, nature, handwork, and conversation.
Summer Volume 1
Summer Vol. 1 begins with a journey through Europe, introducing children to beautiful countries, stories, artists, music, maps, nature, and landmarks across the continent.
Children will explore the heart themes through a gentle rhythm of reading, writing, recitation cards, mapping, listening, discussing, notebooking, and handwork.
